Don’t you hate when you get invited out last minute and you have no clue what to wear?! As a girl, we cannot get ready as easily as a guy.. They throw on a t-shirt and jeans and are ready to go. For us girls we have to take time and effort to figure out what we are going to wear. We have to take into consideration the weather, our period, the type of event, and so much more!
There has been times were I simple decline an invite because I have no clue what to wear! Or I end up being hours late to an event because I have to stop at the mall and find a quick outfit. Honestly, I cannot be the only one that feels this way LOL!
This blog is meant to give you ladies options on some outfits you can wear for any occasion! I also want to give you some inspiration for items you should consider keeping in your closet. So when you come across a time when you have no idea what to wear, you have some staples to make outfits with. So leaving off with that, lets get this ball rolling and get into it!
LOOK #1
A staple look for me when I want to wear jeans but still look sexy! My boyfriend and I have date night once a week and this is type of look I always reach for! I absolutely love a sheer top, I normally pair it with a bra that matches the color of the top the best or I’ll wear a bralette if I want a bit more comfort.
My philosophy on fashion is if I am wearing a tight fitted top, then I’ll opt for looser fitting bottoms. Sometimes that isn’t always the case but I try my best lol! In this case I wrapped my lace up heels around the bottom of my jeans to turn them into a type of ballon pant. It looks chic and highly recommend if you’re starting to branch out into wearing more loosely fitting denim.

LOOK #2
I recently picked up this bodysuit basic from Nordstrom Rack and I think I need to go back and get the other two colors! Basics and neutrals come in handy so much when you’re trying to pair an outfit together. I bought this pleather skirt from H & M a few years ago in New York and I wear it every season!
A leather or pleather skirt works so well for every season you definitely need it in your collection! The focus on this outfit is the shoes so I kept this look simple. This could easily be a night out on the town outfit after clocking out of work, it just needs some changing. I would recommend adding some nylons and switch the heels for boots!

Now this look is going to be for my girls that are a bit more conservative but still want to show some skin. I have been obsessed with cropped collard tops, my collection in my closet keeps growing with them.
This particular one I love because it is such a unique color, considering I tend to dress in the more neutral color scheme. The ballon sleeves add a nice touch to it as well which you don’t get with many long sleeve tops now in days. I paired it with my favorite split hem Zara jeans you saw from Look #1 and my Christian Louboutin heels, simple but such a statement look. Add your favorite mini bag and you’re ready for a night out on the town!

LOOK #4
Leather and Pleather are my go to looks when going out! I think it automatically dresses up any outfit and it fits for any occasion. This particular look is something super easy to throw on for any girl that really doesn’t want to wear heels or look to done up.
Air Force Ones are so comfy and look good with anything (honestly!). I paired it with a low scoop open back tank but if you get cold easily I would do any crop top with sleeves or simply throw on a black oversized blazer!

LOOK #5
Palazoo pants are probably my top 5 closet staples, because they transition to any season. They are light enough for the summer and for the colder months just add some leggings underneath and no one will ever know! That being said Zara has the best options of these pants you can ever need, I opted for the red because it was such a rich color and it pairs with anything!
For this particular look I paired it with a bodysuit and a mesh top to give the fit a bit more substance and not look so simple. I then added some pumps and called it a day! This outfit is a bit more covered up and be worn best for a lunch/dinner with work colleagues, but you be the judge and wear it where you think fits the occasion best!

All in all, everyone has a different version of go to outfits they love to wear for certain occasions. Whether it be brunch with the girls, date night with your man, or drinks with your co-workers. You are bound to get some inspiration from this post and I hope you girls are loving these as much as I am!
