The national holiday of love! Some might think the day is so cliche or it’s just another marketing tactic for big corporations, which it might be. But think of it as an excuse to get dressed up pretty!
Whether you’re going to be out with friends, your significant other, or you’re planning on doing something after the 14th this blog post is meant to give you some inspiration if you’re feeling lost or confused on what to wear. These Valentine's Day outfits are sure to fit the needs of every woman looking to get dolled up for this day!
Option #1
This two piece set from House of CB is a dream! Literally! I saw this a few weeks ago when looking for my birthday outfit and I just knew I had to have it and recommend it to y’all!
When I think of Valentine’s Day cute pink girly outfits come to mind. Now I know that is not everyone’s style so this look is going to be a bit out there for some.
If you’re planning a Valentine’s Day lunch or a post/pre outing with either friends or a special someone, this is the outfit for you. It also has to be a bit warmer where you live if you're planning on wearing this since it is a bit on the more revealing side.
You can style this with some tall stiletto boots and some cat eye sunglasses to finish off the look and you’ll be set. This would also look great by styling your hair in some sort of an updo like a Princess Jasmine braid or messy bun to have all the focus be on the outfit.
OPTION #2
If you haven’t noticed, pink is the theme we're going for here haha! But this number was inspired by Jenee from @highlowluxxe and one of her outfits from New York Fashion Week. The color scheme were going for is pink but there is going to be a ton of focal points in the outfit.
The denim skirt draws the attention with the slit directly down the front and add in the fringe rhinestone crop top and it pulls the look together. The thing that makes this a sort of casual Valentine's Day outfit is offsetting the skirt and crop top with a pink denim jacket and boots.
You can even transition this outfit for other events by utilizing each of the pieces separately!
OPTION #3
There is nothing more classic than a black body-con dress. This look was inspired by the show The Nanny when she goes out to dinner at the Italian restaurant with that really handsome man (if you know you know).
If you have a nice dinner planned to celebrate the holiday here is the outfit for you!
A black sexy mini dress paired with a red cropped faux fur jacket and a pair of heels. You can even add a pair of tights like Fran did in The Nanny if that’s the type of look you want and switch the open toed heels with some pumps.
The great thing about this look is that you probably already have everything you need in your closet!
OPTION #4
My final look for the holiday is something more casual and laid back. In case you’re having dinner at home, dinner with your kids, or lunch with your girlfriends, this look is sure to fit the holiday theme while offering you some comfortability.
A knit pink sweater and some light colored pants to contrast the girly color of the sweater with some statement heels and you’re set for the day. Keeping an outfit simple with either some color or a statement piece is sure to take a plain outfit to over the top.
